Members will be asked to sign an indemnification form once a calendar year. Club dues are $35 per year.

Q: If I join Cascade Rovers is my spouse automatically a member too?
A: Yes, membership includes your spouse and immediate family.

Q: Is this a hard-core off-roading club?
A: The short answer is no, however most events will have a little something for everyone and information about the event can be found in the discussion forum or from e-mails sent out before each run/event. There you should find everything you need to know in respect to trail difficulty, etc. and you can decide if it is an event you want to attend or pass on. This club is focused on events that stock trucks can handle and we encourage stock trucks to attend most events.

Q: What should I generally expect on western WA trails and Forest Service Roads (FSR)?
A: We have found the most common issues on western WA trails are overgrowth, large puddles and washouts. Many trails are overgrown which means you can expect minor to major “pin striping” or scratching of your trucks paint from branches overhanging the trail. Also fall through the spring you can expect puddles - some of which can be up to 12” deep or more. Washouts are also common - some of which are passable and some are not. This could lead to some off-camber situations, etc. which usually are not a problem with a spotter and some patience. We'll try and warn you of these as we can in the Events section but some of this is just inevitable in western WA and we have come to expect it. Our goal is not to do anything that would cause body damage to our trucks but occasionally it happens anyway and that is just part of off-roading. Every time you take your truck off the pavement you risk damage. When planning these events we make every attempt to make it challenging without the risk of body damage, but in the end it is your responsibility to keep you and your truck safe, and you attend these events at your own risk.

Q: What should I generally expect on eastern WA trails and Forest Service Roads (FSR)?
A: We have found the most common issues on eastern WA trails are dusty conditions in the late summer months, mud from melting snow pack in the spring, roots, rocks and tight spots in the trees as well as some off-camber situations and extreme hill climbs and decents. Although the aforementioned has the potential to cause problems most are avoided with proper spotting and patience of all involved. Most trails are well used and wide enough to avoid “pin striping” or scratching of your trucks paint from branches overhanging the trail though sometimes these conditions do exist.
